IF YOU WANT TO LEARN THE MECHANICS THAT WILL STEP YO GAME UP WATCH THE VIDEOS ABOVE, OR JOIN THE DISCORD. THIS GAME DOES NOT SUPPORT KEYBOARD AND MOUSE. IT IS DESIGNED AROUND A GAMEPAD. IN THE MEANTIME YOUR OTHER OPTION IS TO REQUEST A REFUND. I WON’T GET MAD ;)A Duel Hand Disaster: Trackher is the only split-screen single player twin stick risk 'em up in which your score is meaningless unless you exist. You control two ships simultaneously. Destroy the left to earn points, while recovering resources on the right to multiply those points. The left side does not take damage. The right side does. Above all you must extract with your score. Playing ‘til death is not an option.EXTRACT with your score and move on to the next Tier, or jump right back into the one you were on. You will now be able to wager part or all of your previous score, essentially creating a bucket of points that you can earn as a bonus. Choose wisely. Extracting before reaching the wager will mean the wager will become a penalty.GAMEPLAY:The screen is split with the HR-D on the left side (Assault) and the DF-R on the right side (Recovery). The HR-D DOES NOT take damage while the DF-R DOES. If the DF-R is destroyed the game is over, you wipe your score, and your leaderboard position if you die during the Sliver Bullet Bonus. Damage is permanent, however you do earn a bonus the lower your health is. Incentivize the risk, not the instinct to quit.Assault Side: (DOES NOT TAKE DAMAGE | EARNS POINTS)Moving and Shooting deteriorates the LINK between the HR-D and DF-RPowerCells will upgrade the HR-D's rate of fire and unlock new weaponsWEAPONS/UPGRADES: (requires POWER CELLS)Repeater (Hold Left Trigger)Boost (Hold Left Bumper while moving)ScatterShot (Single Tap Left Trigger)Satan 2 (Double Tap Left Trigger)Recovery Side: (DOES TAKE DAMAGE | RECOVERS RESOURCES THAT HELPS MULTIPLY POINTS)Recover Material : your Assault Score will be multiplied by this amount on EXTRACTIONMaterial must be sacrificed to keep the LINK active between the HR-D and DF-RParts are required for EXTRACTIONParts also unlock the DF-R's defensesDEFENSES (requires PARTS)B.F.P. At first, it's fairly simple. Shoot enemies in a top-down vertical shooter on the left, collect resources and materials and avoid danger on the right. At the time of writing, it appears most of the gameplay takes place on the right. The player can completely ignore the left side of the screen, though not destroying enemies will significantly increase the difficulty on the right, as the enemies can actually cross from the left screen to the right, and the right screen ship has no weapons or defense of its own! Each level, or "Tear" is increasingly difficult, but more rewarding. Additional enemies and hazards, as well as point bonuses, appear. Tear 3 is by far the most difficult but fun experience you will have in the entire game. You continue as usual, but your screens may flip upside down, your controls may reverse, or your screens may even swap sides!Aside from a few balancing acts that could enhance the game, such as allowing the left screen ship to take damage, there is a lot of fun to be had with ADHD: Trackher. The graphics are pretty, and the sound design is fairly interesting, even if it needs a bit of pollish. This game is still clearly in early-acces, as basic features and options are missing. The game runs smooth, but is locked into (presumably) 1080p resolution. This writer's display does not support 1080p, thus the UI is either cut off or rearranged and overlaps. The gameplay is completely unaffected, however.Aside from a few balancing acts (only the right-screen ship's death results in a game-over), this game really is a lot of fun! Once you top the leaderboards, however, there is no incentive to keep playing. Starting any game will completely clear your current leaderboard position. The game does use this as a challenge fairly well, but if you lack the confidence to top your old high score, you're better off creating a new Steam account and purchasing the game again if you don't want to risk losing your bragging rights. Personally, I've never been one for leaderboard domination, so I have no problem starting fresh again each time to explore what the game has to offer.Slight issues like this are to be expected from early-access titles, so there is absolutley no harm in givng this game a shot. ADHD: Trackher is very much worth the $8 price tag. Give it a try if you're a fan of classic arcade games or 2D shooters! I'll probably buy this game a second time when the Nintendo Switch port drops!P.S: Don't cheat by playing "co-op." :P. Amazing game. Super well designed. Seems random at first, but every action on one side effects the other. Difficulty ramps up well according to how well you're playing. Developer is VERY responsive on discord. He frequently stops by if you're streaming the game and most priority bugs don't last more than a day or two. HIGHLY recommend joining the Disaster.. This is an increadibly fun and engaging game. Even though it is still being developed there is a latge amount of effort put into making the grate game available for a rather decent price. I admitedly had never heard of th egame untill I spent a weekend in PAX South where I admitedly spent a large amont of time playing this game. By no means was I a greate player but the developer spent a good portion of time explaining to me the way the controls work as well as giving me tips and triks to improve my escores and experience playing. Thanks to this I was able to quicly progres into confortab,y laying tear 3 in only two days with limmited game time. I am also exstatic that the game is being released on the nintendo switch. This game is a hidden gem in the proces of being fully pulished and I am honestly happy to be able to watch it grow. I sevearely recomend if you like chalenging games, love to punish yourself when gaming, enjy cleaver referenses and over all good games. 8\/10 (Becasue it is still being developped). super addictive. This game is unlike anything I've ever played. When I first came across it my initial thought was , wut?. But once I learned exactly what it was and got my hands on the game it all made sense. This game requires total focus as you try to build your score because if you die, it's meaningless and you lose it all! The music is upbeat and catchy which definitely sets the vibe for the game and the little witty comments that pop up on screen when a game modifier is active give plenty of chuckles. I would highly recommend this game for anyone who wants something different and challenging!. This game is addicting, difficult, and WAY too fun to miss out on. I'm raging my head off but MAN is this game fun!
